Strawberry Cream

Strawberry Cream was probably that dahlia that took me most by surprise this season. I couldn’t believe the variation in colors and blooms this plant had to offer! Some blooms were a very light pink with only a dusting of the darker, strawberry pink color. Others would be almost completely raspberry, with just a few petals and little hints of lighter pink. (See photos for variation) Smaller to medium sized plants did not require staking, but still produced an abundance of perfect, dark colored stems. This is a super fun one to have and I am definitely going to be growing more of her next year!
